yeah! that sounds like a great idea!

I wonder why nobody else thought of that before??!

Better go do some more reading, or think your ideas through a little better.

Im guessin ur bein sarcastic...

Speakin of that tho, ppl say that AR Max should work on the USB extreme since ppl got it to work on the HDD in their fat PS2. There is some special way im too retarded to even try but check it out on the "How to Cheat on ur HDD" forum.

And i just thought of this, if the PS3 have a 2.0 USB port then wouldnt USB extreme finally play at full speed without choppy cut scenes???

you do have a point about USB extreme on the PS2. But you will need a mod chip in it first. Then start worrying about it.

Its supposed to have an internal hdd anyway. So it may take a little bit of time, but I dont think it would be that long before there is an app to load games onto that.

i got use extreme and i dont like it. i know it new but there are a lot of games that dont work with it and it cant be fixed cuz it does not have a mode setting like HD advance, and FMVs skip. so i feel, as a former owner of usb extreme: Dont buy it, Its very lame

Hi,

Why not use USB-Advance. I have it and it runs all of my backups. You can either use a mod-chip or the memory card exploit to boot it. You can also use the USB-Extreme game ripper to put gane DVDs onto the HDD.

I got the USB advance and didn't like it. first because the connection was too slow. I would rather use the discs. Second, it would not play my burnout 3 or burnout revenge.

I finally got the DMS4 EZI Pro chip and use the Toxic OS to load my games to the internal HD. The load time is awesome and if a game doesn't play, I can change the settings to get it to work.

If you have a fatty ps2, I would go that route.
