Warning; I've never done this, only read it.
Some PlayStation game backups can't be played because they are too big (for SwapMagic or to play with chip, I'm not sure). Usually, these have dummy files that are only there to take space on the disk to inprove performance. You can just replace the dummies with zero byte files, and then rebuild the ISO.

i downloaded gundam seed: alliance vs zaft for ps2, and i have a quick question about it. i have my original somewhere, and in my desperate attempt to play, i tried downloading and burning it. at any rate, when i use my friend's swap magic to play it, it takes an incredibly long time to load after swapping. i was wondering if someone could help me with this problem? i mean, the loading time is in the tens of minutes (20-30 mins, etc) for each little option i choose. thanks in advance. great forum btw.

If there are many, they might be multi-part, or they might be seperate disks. Check the sizes of the files for a clue. There will possible be a very small file (<1 MB) (serving a purpose similar to an index) for each disk that DVD Decrypter http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/DVD_Decrypter/1011845169/1 will open and burn the proper disk for you.
Also check the source for the files for help.
Just putting them all in one folder on a DVD won't work.

the file are like 10 in number. the arein different folders and the around 700 or 800 mb each file. after that there is a single folder that contain tracks(songs) for the game. what am i suppose to do with that folder.

Nero and Fireburner are burning software. WinRAR is archive software.
WinRAR will let you extract image files (for your burning software) from downloaded archive files.
WinRAR can also extract data from image files, but you should not do that, you should just let the burning software handle the image files and burn the intended disk by itself.

1 Mode 1/2048 250:237:195 00:00:00
Total Time: Source File
250:239:195 SuperDBZISO

just one question
is the game a cd game??
u can know this my simply looking at the size of the image file.
if it exceeds 1GB then it's a dvd game. so u should get a dvd-r/+r.
i would recommade getting DVD Decrypter as it's free and very simple to use. to make things more simple check this guide.

i think files with the extension are iso's that are compressed with a program called poweriso,so maybe you need to use that

I tried WinRAR and it can't extract the files. I've used WinRAR for years but there was always at least one file with an extension .rar. The ones I have end in .001 and so on. I try to right click and open the files and I get a pop-up window telling me the file is either in unknown format or damaged.

hursty, thanks. It combined all 93 files; however, the combined file had no extension. I manually added .iso and .bin as extensions and tried to open it with WinISO but it didn't work.

Note that the top file is the combined file using HJsplit.

try opening WinRAR first, then browse for the files, see what happens
if not, what you might have is a combined set of archives, which needed to be combined (which you have done),whether using HJ split was the correct thing remains to be seen...you might have to try using WinRAR or WinZIP for this
anyways, open the larger combined file with WinRAR,inside there, you should see a image
