Ain't nothing wrong with her anatomy. No buldging drawers on my desktop. I reduced the screenshot to 50% since it does show quite a bit of skin.

As a complete newbie to the Nero scan, what does this screen capture mean? The Quality Score of 97 seems to me to be excellent but the rest of it doesn't say a lot to me.

From what I've read, PIE (upper chart) should not exceed 280 on any large portion of the disc. I've found that they will generally play even if the PIE is pretty high. The PIF (lower chart) is what's really important and the quality score is based on the peak PIF. On a Lite-On or Sony, PIF is measured per each ECC block and 4 peak will give you a score of 90. On a BenQ, The PIF is measured per 8 ECC blocks and a 16 peak will give you a score of 90. 90 and up should be considered good and anything under 80 or so may give you problems (pixelation of skipping). At least that's been my experience. Someone else may have a different opinion.

Incidentally, this is the scan of a Prodisc S03 (printable) that is over 2 years old. I sure wish I could still buy these. The PIE runs a little high at the end and it's not burned to the edge, but it plays fine and the PIF looks fairly good. If anyone has an old G04 or G05 printable, run a scan on it. I can't be the only person this has happeded to.

@Theron93, forkndave
According to my understanding, any Quality scores from 95 - 100 is consider good ( or high quality) and any 0 - 3 PI Failures is consider high quality media.
Even a few of the scans in here actually has a Quality scores of 96 - 98, but the PIF is way over 3, which is just OK or normal.
NOTE: Remember a high quality media needs both the combination of "Quality scores and PIF" and or PIE needs to be low as well.

On a Lite-On a peak PIF of 3 will give you a score of 93. On a BenQ 3 will give you a score of 98 or 99. They don't read PIF the same way. PIE would be pretty similar on both since PIE is per 8ECC blocks on both. I can't speak of any other brands, but I do have a Lite-On and a BenQ to compare. The PIF will be higher on the BenQ, but the score will be pretty close to the same.

If you noticed the media that I used was CMC MAG which seems, according to this, to give good results. So if this is the case, why knock that media?

For anybody considering trying benq (daxon) media, don't. Here's a 8 month old benq DVD+R hub printable. I threw most of these discs away (unburned).
Although most ppl badmouth prodisc, I tried some DVD+R hub printables about a year ago and didn't have many problems with them. Here's one burned about 7 months ago.
And here's all I use now. This verb was burned about 10 months ago.

@gurnard buddy,
For some reason, I still think that the Maxell (Hitachi - made in japan) has a slightly better quality than the Maxell Ritek. I could be wrong, and or perhaps it's just my DRU710A that loves them that's all. I'm not putting Ritek down or anything, and I know for a fact that Ritek is a good media (which I've used in the past). However, the failures on both PIF and PIE on the Ritek is a little bit higher than the Maxell (Hitachi - mij). Maxell's Ritek "Taiwan" and Maxell Hitachi "japan" below.

Hi All,
I'm still new and learning, I know how to take screen shots, But my Nero don't look like that when it's burning my disc. I think I have Nero 6, It came with my burner Lite On when I bought it. So what verison are you using to get that type of screen shot.
Thanks

@Mely4fun
That is not a burning screen in Nero it is a disk scan screen. You go into the Nero Tool Kit and then the Nero CD-DVD Speed Tool.

Nice bike there. I used to have a Kawasaki back in the mid 90's with a few of my cousins and nephew them, but ever since I slipped, I no longer touch it anymore.
