Any big users of the eDonkey2000 network will already have noticed that huge servers such as Razorback2 seem to have disappeared. The Federal Belgian Police raided and seized the servers yesterday. TO ture ,altho most of the time theres enough vocals there for you to hammer out a gramatticly decently sentance or 2 that more or less flows with it all.

BTW how is the dual core X2 treating you? I want to spend 250 and get a ADM 64 1MB cache CPU,it dosent seem like the X2s are worth gettign just yet but sicne you have one tell me what your exp have been,I bet that has a 1mb cache to, the X2 I can afford has a 512KB cache.

I haven't got one yet! It's in my future buy list, but with financial status looking ever more bleak I may end up having to settle for the 3800 instead, possibly for the sakeof an AGEIA card, although I may not even end up with one of those.
Looking into an Aria build atm, seems reasonable, totally customisable, and good service and price. Hmmm, there's something fishy about that...

can you help me to understand soemthing,I am mostly sure than a 1MB cache 2Ghz CPU would be about the same or better than a dual core 2Ghz 512Kb for games and apps that do not use 2 cores.

XP can run both and over all it mgiht run better but over all you wont get the most of of the CPU untill more apps and games use 2X cores....besides I dont ahve 400+ for a CPU I am goign to get a 3700 it has a 1MB cache and should do well for acouple years...

any dual core would be better than a single core at present. Even with the relatively inexpensive X2 3800+ you get two 3200+ cores, eventually ending up as a 6400+, not bad at all.
