i dont follow polls....when both systems get released about 6 months or longer into the mix of things(not that i give a rats arse or not), but then i think its time to let people see which console seems to be the favorite. basically let the numbers speak the truth(so to speak).
its just a story nothing more, nothing less....they show they polled females which is nice, but of those females....what were their ages, job professions, marital status, had they own systems before, do they like or detest video games etc. also think about all the surveys/polls you have taken, were you completely honest with your answers or did you exaggerate a little bit....im not sure why people care about these things sooo much, they really do not prove anything. however numbers don't lie so i'll check then...

yes, either system is not better than the other in any other way but opinion. if i like slower speeds (due to shared ram and use of only gddr3), a botched download service (cant do a da*ned thing while downloadign anything), slighly less graphics (the ati doesnt cut it so well), a shape that doesnt please me (concave feels as un-forward moving s the system) and i had budget issues enought to not care what im losing out on, then the 360 would be for me. if i like a great and simple shortcut browser to anything offered(the xmb interface), higher speeds(cell, xdr ram), better graphics(nvidia's gpu has a 50 mhz lead, and they always do better in this area), 1080p if you have it, a sleek design (love the crome on black and convex shape), the money for the initial investment (which can easily be saved for by launch), and the motion sensing tech which i'll love, then the ps3 is for me.
this is how i see things, all opinion since everything is. what do you guys feel the comparison is?

is there suppose to be like 2 different kinds of ps3 like they did with the 360. theres like a ps3 with 20gb hard drive and one with a 60gb hard drive that costs abit more. i hope the online is better to say its free coz i fort the ps2 online isnt all that good.

have you been living under a rock? yes there will be two versions. the cheap one doesnt have hdmi, wifi, or the car readers.

Im not sure if this has been talked about, I know there will be two different versions of the PS3 which are 60gigs and 20.
What I dont know is what else doesnt the 20gig version have over the 60gig. I also heard a rumour that if you get a 20gig version you wont be able to upgrade it to the full 60gig version. (if its un-upgradeable than what the hell is the point...might as well get the 60gig version).

PS3 will be $499 and $599 depending on the size of hard drive you get, anyone know when madden 07 will be released for ps3 around launch date maybe? Dont wanna buy madden 07 for the ps2 and then have to buy it for ps3, so ill try and burn it first. GO SEAHAWKS!!!! bleep DA STEELERS bleep CHEATERS

i wouldnt buy it either for both the ps2/ps3. it will release in november according to ign. at e3 the game was already playable (11 on 11) so it seems like its on track for november. btw you should edit your use of choice words.

I dont get the cussing thing,some people can say whatever the hell they want cuss or flame and some get called out on it. its not good it shows favoritism, i cant forget who but someone got suspended recently for cussing and using "***" to fill in the blanks but many a time i see others cuss and all types of crap like that nothing is said.its gotta be cut and dry not here and there like it is! BUt dude i agree with u about the cheaters hopefully sony fixes that because the ps2 was the land of the cheaters for madden atleast.

You know sometimes it's a case of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
You get away if no mods see you.
Or you get caught cause a mod was just browsing around just as you said something offensive.
Sometimes it's the mood of the thread too if. If its a thread or a member thats gave a mod trouble b4 tolerance is lower.
I know of the incident that you referred to and in that case the member had been spoken to on several occasions about language.
The Mods can have high tolerance but sometimes they have to put their feet down.
Yes on occasion some are a bit short but still they're here to keep the forum from going out of control. Believe me I've seen them get some crazy situations that you really bring AD into disrepute under control
