I modified my kboot.conf during the process of adding wi-fi support and now I get
/init: etc/kboot.conf 9: Syntax Error Undetermined quoted string

repeating down my screen during the Kboot initialization process. This occurs prior to any prompts appearing and there appears to be no way to escape out of this infinite loop. Which means I cannot even boot into the game os, does anyone know of a way to recover from this?

I found my own way back to the Game OS and I think that if I do a PS3 Restore I can start back over with both Kboot and YDL.

For those stuck in this syntax error loop, to resolve it, power off the PS3 and power back on, then hold the start button down until you hear it beep twice and let go. This will restore several settings to default but wont delete your users or their data.
