i'm curently getting a error message with DVD Shrink while trying to shrink certain movies. anyone have any info about fixing this problem?

I just installed any dvd software, and now when I try to shrink any sony movies ,I get an error message saying that DVD Shrink has encounter an error and cannot continue.. Is there a problem with DVD Shrink running with AnyDVD?

depends on what version you are using.

before AnyDVD came out with a beta a week or so ago DVD Shrink was not working good with AnyDVD when doing sony dvds, it seems with the beta version they fixed that problem, however i dont know for sure if slysoft has released a version that works good with shrink, wait for AnyDVD users to post some more info on that.

DVDFab will rip any sony dvds out there.

thanks, so with dvd fab, will i be able to shrink with DVD Shrink running with dvd fab?

You can use the ripper function in AnyDVD and rip the DVD to the HD or you can use DVDFAB Decrypter as 300bowler suggested and rip the DVD to the HD. After ripping then you can use Shrink to compress the files
