hiya
my ps3 has been fine for a few days and then i put f1 championship in and it reads the disc (you get the little active light on in the right hand corner)but when i go to the game menu it isn,t there,i can,t start the game all i have is save game data and another folder but thats it.
my 360 has worked lubbly now since xmas is this the future of gaming consoles now when i have had my ps2 for nearly 10 years with no problems apart from a dodgy laser.

damn feels like i have had my ps2 for an eternity ...lol...
phoned the careline and it's shagged for want of a better word,he told me on thee phone to turn on the console but keep the button pressed untill it beeped for a second time (something to do with a software reset or something)then put the game in and see if it appears.
but it is the same, can anyone see these new consoles lasting more than 3 years....lol..
the disk is ether scratched or the data on it is not placed on properly and destorted so if you can bring back the game for a new one and try it if not then screwed up

i have tried resistance/f1 championship and reidge racer 7 and it won't read any of them so i will have to send it back.
these new consoles seem a bit fragile .lol.........

Anything on the limit of tech. is going to be a little fragile. plus anything made in the 100 of 1000's are few bad ones will crop up. but as far as we know there are no design faults as there are with the 360.

yeah probably judging the console unfairly being so new.
replacement came very quickly so see how long this lasts.
