OK so i am looking to get a modchip installed in my wii but i want a professional to do it because i have never soldered anything in my life and don't want to mess anything up. I came across Team Modders and it looked promising but i just wanted to do some research before i sent them my $250 wii. I want to know if they are a reliable site or if they will just steal my wii or something if i send it in to get it modded. I like to know about good/bad experiences with them. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I have used them and know of allot of other members on this site and other sites that have used them and I have never heard of any negative feed back.
By the way it is against forum rules to bump your thread. HERE is a link to the rules if you want to look them over.

I was wondering about this too.
It's a scary thing. You give some stranger a 250 rare Wii. Plus 100 dollars. Why would you ever get it back ? Who are you gonna tell ?
Also, who's not to say people on this forum don't work for Team Modders ?
But I will say. EVERY TIME I e-mail Team Mod, they reply on time. They were SUPER cool about everything. If I did trust anyone. It would be Team Modders.
If you do it. And have success, PLEASE tell me

Team Modders don't charge $100, they charge $35 to mod a Wii(modchip not included). I'm pretty sure.

$35 for the install and $20 for shipping.
You can either send a Modchip with your Wii or buy 1 from them for extra $.

35 modchip + 35 Installion + 20 Shipping = 90 bucks. Round up. 100 dollars.
Do the math.

Do a search of my posts and you'll see that I asked the exact same questions the OP did. I sent it out and had it back in a week.

I didn't even send my Wii over there but one of the guys over there helped me out through email with advice. They are perfectly fine with customers doing it themselves and are not in it for the money.

Uh made my own post(guess I didn't search well enough) for where to get my wii modded at. Already went ahead and editted it after finding about them but then I went to check out teammodders...and I can't get into the website. Can anyone else? Any link to their site gives me a 403 forbidden error. I love tons of positive feedback because I need an xbox and wii modded.

Considering the teammodders.com site is down along with their e-mail services I would say yes it's for real.

You guys should just chip your own Wii, it isn't that hard at all. There's even videos out there that show you how to do it. YOU CAN DOOO IT! YOU CAN DOO IT ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!

You guys should do what I did and buy a Wii from good ol' Wal-Mart and get the 2yr warranty. So if you screw it up you can de-solder out the chip like they show in the video and try again, or take it back to Wal-mart and get a new one and try try again. Wal-Mart employees have no idea if a wii was tampered with or not.

I think most of the people that sent theirs out researched doing it themselves first. Not all of us have the required soldering skills or the desire to attempt it.
