I was just wondering if anyone has tried to use any ps2 hd loader on a ps3. If so what were the results. Did it even load up, did you need an external hdd, etc. Any feedback is appreciated.

just tried it; it booted, then gave a "your ps2 hardware is not compatible with this software" or something not unexpected like that.

given the upscaling & unlimited memory cards/ability to download saves, id love to play my ps2 games off the ps3...give it time. how long was PS2 out before HD loader got it down?

The hdloaders won't work unless you reprogram it to recognize sata connections.At the moment it only recognizes IDE,so it will take some time to do that.
