I have DVD Shrink but I had to reboot my computer and lost Nero and dont know if DVD Shrink only works with a special version of Nero but does anyone know how it works and where can I get the Nero? Let me know thanks.

Ok rebooting shouldn't have made you lose Nero. Do you mean reformat?

All versions that have burning rom work w/ Shrink to autoburn. The only version that doesn't is 6.6.1.4.

You can download the latest version of Nero form their site - link
Pick which version you have the serial # (bought) - Nero 6 or Nero 7.

I dont have my disk with me so i do not have me serial number with me. I am away for the summer and want to burn a dvd but lost Nero.I did mean reformat

is there a way to get Nero with a serial number or a way to get the software to use?

Hmmm Nero 7 has a 30 day trial - so if you're only gone for 30 days that may hold you over. Once you get home just enter the serial 7 (if you had Nero 7) in product center and the trial will now become the full version.

If you registered with Nero you might be able to email them and get the serial #. Here's link for the lost serial # - link.
I don't know if I'd hold my breathe waiting for a response though - but hey you never know.

Or download this tweak to Shrink - link.
With this you'll be able to autoburn w/ ImgBurn

Download and install the tweak to Shrink and ImgBurn (see links above).
When you click backup in Shrink under select backup target you'll pick 'iso image file and burn with ImgBurn'.
Shrink will do it's thing then ImgBurn will kick in and start burning.

I tried to download neros free trail and after it gets to 100 percent it says that there is some kind of error. so something is not working with neros free trial??? can anyone help me out?

It's an exe to change Decrypter to ImgBurn w/ Shrink.
The link is to rapidshare - follow the instructions on the page to dl - small file so won't take long at all.

Download from Nero's site? What's the error?

If you don't want to download imgburn and tweak for shrink - then burn w/ Decrypter - link.
Just pick 'iso image file and burn with decrypter'.
