Hi salvara85
The illegal disc error you get usually means the the firmware of the drive isn't updated with the media id of the discs you are using.
You have the latest firmware but the last update was in 12/04 so newer media like the 16x you are using may be hit or miss.
Look for 8x media if you can find it or try some Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell.
Your Nero can use an update too - update package 1 only from here - link and package 2 (vision, recode etc) from here - link
