dvd shrink to slow

DVD Shrink when it is encoding looks like it is going one frame at a time,,i have read about the burners and the dma,,ive tried shuting down the internet ,,the firewall, the antivirus,,nothing works,,when shrink is running the cpu reads 100%,,thankyou for any help..

DVDShrink is CPU intensive and it will probably use 100%CPU but that really depends on the computer specs. What are your computer specs(i.e Ram, Cpu speed etc).

1.53ghz..1 gig ram....but it used to do it with no problems before ,,prob about 30 min to do it all,,i swear,,and i used to only have 512 ram

Try uninstalling shrink, reboot, reinstall and retry.

I had the same trouble and I tried every trick in the book at fixing it, it was gradually working slower and slower encoding --- not burning
Eventually in desperation, I went to "help & support" on my PC
Then to "Pick a task"
Then to "Undo changes to your PC with Systems Restore"
BINGO ! ... problem solved !
I have used this to "cure" lots of my problems over a long period of time, as I do not really understand PC,s very much.
