why don't they inform you that you can use DVD Shrink to burn DVD's? they say to use whatever burning software you prefer but no one shows how to use Shrink to do this. since it can rip and burn wouldn't it just be easier to instruct people how to use shrink? i tend to get more errors using nero than shrink so i was just wondering.

great site!!!

Hi Mach858

Shrink doesn't have it own burn engine. It uses Nero.
So if you don't have Nero you'll need to use something else.

It will also burn w/ Decrypter if you have it installed and pick that option.
There's also a tweak you can install to use ImgBurn instead to burn.
Same deal - have it installed (along w/ tehe tweak) and pick that option.

pordon the question, but could I ask what the "tweak" is? "Burn with DVD Decrypter" used to be on my Burn options in DVD Shrink...until I uninstalled it, since I read it's obsolete, and the new up to date version is "DVDFab HD Decrypter"...but yea, since uninstalling the old DVD Decrytor, I have to manually open ImgBurn to the ISO to burn...

I have never had any luck with Nero. I use either Sonic RecordNow or Imgburn to burn with. Shrink doesn't burn, it is a editing/transcoding tool. Use the link that 300bowler provided to get the Shrink/Imgburn combo package. It only takes a few seconds to manually open Imgburn and make your preparations BTW. Imgburn was developed by Lightning UK, the same person that gave us Dvd Decrypter.
