The movie Number 23 has 3 main titles. I've seen two on several
discs. One is Widescreen and one is Fullscreen. What is the 3rd
title?

Hmmm the 3rd one is the unrated version. I think the theatrical version might have the option of full and widescreen (I'd need to check mine again)

Such service. You guys are awesome.
Thanks for the link freedom2. That explained a lot. Looks like
this one gets a little messy. I just want the movie. Looks like
AnyDVD and Shrink did fine. Will watch it tonight just to make
sure.
Thank you again.

You have to do title 2 the unrated version otherwise you get a blue banner on the bottom that pops up from time to time telling you to press enter for facts about movie.

It didnt matter which title I selected I still got the banner and I also
noticed the subtitles didn't follow the lines they were more like trivia answers, so I tried it without the subtitles and that worked

AnyDVD W/VobBlanker will work.
here is the output folder created by VObBlanker(basically blanked everything except movie and menu)

No compression needed :)

Ah so now I think I see why it has the 3 titles :)
When I play it I only saw 2 but in CloneDVD I see the 3 listed.

You're right all 3 have it. To get rid of the blue banner at the bottom you have to rip it without the subtitles

It is an infini film, you know. They always offer a trivia track for their movies. I, for one, love crap like that (I'm a sucker for it), unless this title is loaded with useless trailers and a whole lot of other crap I don't want that I can blank, I'll be using a dual layer disc.

Mr Pink,
I also will be using a DL Verbatim disc, this my first one ever. I am curious to see how it comes out, i think the discs were 8X so i burned it at 4X. This is just a test to see how they work because they are quite expensive and I would only use them for movies where I want every single feature. Like 300 next week!!! :)
One other question, I am seeing some comments about a track popping up and I am concerned if I use the DL discs will I get this same popup.

If you don't want the popup just uncheck all the english subtitles. The popup is a blue banner telling you to press the enter button for movie facts.

I have a question about this one. If you have already burnt this and have subtitles enabled, could you re-rip the backup without subtitles and burn to eliminate the banners?

I would think that would do the trick.
I backed up the whole thing - watch the unrated version and didn't have any problems w/ any popups. I haven't watched the theatrical version though.

@freedom2
Did you try 'unchecking' the making of or any special features you don't want in Clone?
I found that thread at slysoft - and I'm pretty sure for all these movies I used Clone & AnyDVD (did for the number 23). If not Clone then I would have used Recode.
I should clarify my 'full backup' - it's a full backup sortof - I uncheck what I don't want in Clone so I guess that's why I haven't a problem.

my update. I just did 23 with anydvd and clone with no problems. Seems to play well. Was a tight fit but made do with Main movie and deleted scenes only. Anydvd does this movie without problems, I don't know what all the fuss is. I'm waiting for next week with the release of 300 to see what they can throw at us though.

From what Slysoft had posted - it had to do with CloneDVD - said there will be an update for CloneDVD soon. But they said deleting some of the special features would work.
300 is being released by Warner Bros so it will probably be an easy one.
Great movie and definitely on my must have list :)
edit: friggin typos :)

I've tried like 8 times to back up this movie and no matter what I use I still get that blue bar..it's annoying. I have used Any Dvd and Clone, only doing the movie and menu, unclicking the English Subtitles, then just tried with Shrink and AnyDvd with the whole disk but subtitles and still a blue bar..ughhh

If you use VObBlanker and blank everything out except the Movie and the menu of the movie you dont even need to use shrink, it will work for sure.
if you need help with VobBlanker let me know.
