Can someone please help me out with this issue:

I am planning on purchasing either of these 2 monitors for use on my PS3 in order to obtain the maximum gaming experience:

I don't know much about TVs and video output, resolution, etc. but I have tried to do a bit of research on these topics and from what I've learned and based on the specs of these monitors, they seem to be pretty good to me.

Is it worth it to purchase one of these monitors to use my PS3 on, and my Wii also??? If so, which one do you guys recommend???

Furthermore, what are all the components I need to purchase additionally in order to play my PS3 and my Wii in full 1080p HD???

ud be better getting a tv, less hastle lol, plus u can get a 26 inch one well cheap now, hdmi and everything, i live in the uk and a samusng one is like £300, which is like 500 dollars but it should be cheaper over there lol, i think its because we have 17.5% vat on everything, get a tv, best way to go.
