I have been using anydvd with shrink for a long time. On some occasions I have been running into shrink not being able to shrink the movie down to fit on a regular dvd+r. Recently the movie was Shooter. There have been other movies as well that were not recent leading me to believe that its not a copyright protection. I use the auto compression setting and use XP. Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem recently or if perhaps I changed a setting accidentally etc. I know there are options to change the compression settings etc.. but if its not broken, i would rather not fix it. Any solutions greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read.

I run into it the odd time.
What happens if you reload the output and tell it to do it again?

Same thing. I use a different application thats no longer in circulation when that happens with shrink. When i use that non-available application and it goes into shrink it works fine. I kinda think it might be related to Anydvd.

You shouldn't be using AnyDVD with Ripit4Me, you are seeing the effects.

I always close anydvd before i use ri4me. Are you saying that just by having both applications that its causing some sort of conflict?

Most programs will give you a warning if AnyDVD is detected...it is just suggested not to run two of any type rippers at the same time as conflicts may occur. Are you backing up the main movie or the full disc?
