DVD Shrink application?

I downloaded DVD Shrink and when I try and open it says i need an application. What application do I use to open DVD shrink? Or is there another way to open and run DVD shrink?

Where did you download it from? What you should have is an setup.exe that will install the program on your PC. Maybe start over and download from the underlined DVD Shrink in your post or right here from my post.

It sounds like it has been archived so download WinRAR which can handle most compression formats and use it to extract your executable.

I agree with Mr-Movies, you maybe trying to open/run an archived file. The .exe file needs to be extracted first before you can install shrink.

Chances are that the file you downloaded is a .zip file, if so (and are using windows XP), then right-click on it and choose extract all, then click next a couple of times. Once the .exe file has been extracted, double-click on it to install shrink.

If the file is in a different format (ie: .rar), then use a FREE utility called 7-Zip to extract the .exe file. You can get it here http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z442.exe

When i try and open DVD Shrink it says there is no default application. I have it has a .exe file. And when I try to choose an applcation it wont let me highlight anything. Thank you for the previous post however is there anything else I can try? I have a MacBook....

Shrink is not Mac compatible:(

Try using "Mac the ripper"
