Damn, I've bought a few times from modchipstore.com. They had pretty fast shipping. Consolesource.com is still is around and they are good. I guess they are a little safer being in Canada.

It's doubtful the feds are going after customers as many very close to it are saying they are just going after the big fish. It appears to me people who do modding business online with that being their primary source of income.

Just because some sites have been pulled doesn't mean they have been busted. Allot of them probably have temporally shut down just to be safe.
This is the case for 1 of the sites that have been discussed in this thread. They have shut down waiting for the storm to blow over.

@yojacks
I hope your being sarcastic about the below quote...
Quote: anything without a warranty sticker is being kept
If that was the case then no one would get their Wii back due to Nintendo not having warranty stickers on the Wii in the first place.

My Wii was out being modded and now the people I used to mod it are shut down. I guess that means I'm out of a Wii? Does anyone know if there's any chance of people getting their Wii's back?
I think it's so stupid for them to be going after these people, but I guess that's the government for you.

@WiiChick and other members that have sent out their Wii systems to be modded.
Just because the site is down doesn't mean that particular site has been busted. Allot of the sites have just shut down for precautionary reasons.
If it is a reputable site and they just shut down for precautionary reasons more then likley you will get your Wii back modded or your Wii and money back if they decide not to Mod it.

So picture this.
Just after dawn, the sun is rising, and its still a bit foggy outside. There is still dew on the grass, and suddenly you see feet trampling the grass. Lots and lots of feet. The camera zooms out, and you see swat members surrounding a house in the middle of a small neighborhood. 30-40 swat members doing their hand signs to each other to carefully sneak to the front. Up comes the member with the battering ram, and *BAM* People inside are jumping up. The teenager in the living room who has been playing Zelda twilight princess all night begins to freak and eject the disk quickly. *BAM* The door busts open and swat members start to pile through the door. One member quickly looks at the teen and yells "He's got a backup!!!!!" Suddenly, about 10 swat members open up fire with their assault machine guns, pumping round after round into the teen. Finally, after about 200 rounds are filed, and its obvious the teen is dead, the assault team signals for others to secure the rest of the house, abusing the other members of the family. Slamming them to the ground and breaking their arms as the cuffs are slapped on. Later that day, the family receive a one way ticket to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The agents probably would say WOW I don't have this 1 and stick it in their vest while looking through the backups/pirated material.
