Hi

I am thinking of buying a PS3 but I need to be clear of a few things, so any help is much appreciated. I live in UK and own PS2 and use swap magic 3.8 coder. However recently my swap is giving me trouble loading backed up games, I think it is my PS2 is getting old!

My first question is that is PS3 region free? so I can buy games from US and play them in Europe.

Secondly wil I be able to play my imported and backed up PS2/1 games on PS3,and/or is there a way to do that like swap magic for PS3?

Your help is much appreciated.

there's no perfect mod to the ps3.but the systems are region free when it comes to games!

To play PS1/2 backups you need to follow the info in the 'PS3 Swap Switch Tutorial' thread in the stickies part of this forum.
