C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory

The NeroHistory is the text log file. It should be similarly located for Nero 6. You didn't say which version. Hopefully it's Nero 7.

BTW, this thread appears to be Nero oriented. You might get more help if you ask a moderator to move the thread to the Nero forum.

Just thinking out loud... Have you tried transcoding the files to the hard drive and then record manually?

Recorder: <_NEC DVD_RW ND-2500A> Version: 1.06
Way behind in firmware, that could be the problem with the newer 16x sony media you are using.
here is where you can get a firmware update
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1740

also try burning them at 4x or 8x.

you also have roxio driver installed, if the firmware doesn't help you should remove that with the roxioZap tool

Any time you have a drive, the first thing you should try is doing a google of the brand's support site (NEC Support). Then search for firmware on the site. To make things easy for you this time, I went ahead and searched the NEC site to where the various firmware selections are located. Once there click on the ND 2500A option. Read closely and print the directions for installing firmware before accepting.
http://support.necam.com/optical/downloads/flashfirmware/
Once you Accept the directions you're directed to the firmware download link for your drive.

Pay attention to the notes. If your drive came with the PC, contact the manufacturer site to see what it says about the firmware.
