hello everyone. a couple of weeks ago i was using the LAN cable supplied with the PS3 and all was well, unfortunately i lost it, so i bought some lan cable (CAT6) and plugged it in to the PS and the PC, and now it isn't working i re-did everything and still nothing.. i Tested the connection on the PS3 and all is Success uPnP is unavailable and NAT type is 3, which is normal, that's what i got when i used the original cable.... my psnetwork never signs in and i can't open any page???????? help please.. .thanks

I think you need a regular CAT5 cable

yah i don't know why you got a CAT6 but see if you can return or exchange it for store credit or something.

For the PC to PS3 you would need a Cross-over Cable.
For just browsing the web using the PS3 or downloads a Cat6 Cable is fine, as I am currently using that to download game demos.
