i tried it with the hd dvd fab and it doesnt work or with decrypter with fab it says error while reading! please choose what to do and it has options for retry, abort, ignore, and ignore all. it occurs in the vts 08_1.vob file.
im sure that doesnt help much if someone can tell me how to copy a log and post it on here i will do that and maybe shed some light on the situation.

All this movie needs (Region 2 Pal version of the movie anyway) is DVDFab Decrypter 3.1.5.0. 'Movie only' mode was a breeze, like all other movies..

that would be a read error...are there any scratches on the dvd?
it could be a bad press too? have you tried watching the dvd?
like creaky said dvdFab HD should handle it. you can try using the newest version if you are not.
if nothing works then return it for another copy.

if you try to use ripit4me it says that it cannot create a directory for the ifo's. the disc reads fine, and i even tried it with another copy of the disc, as well as two other computers and no luck. im out of ideas.

I tried all the common ripping programs like DVDFAB, CloneDVD, Shrink, 1Click, Decrypter, and AnyDVD. The only way to make a complete copy including the extra features and all audio options is to extract all the files from the DVD to your hardrive with VOBBlanker and then clean the files with FixIt4Me and then you can make your copy with Shrink.

Got it....movie only though, using AnyDVD 6.1.7.0 and NERO7 Recode2 Remake A DVD.
Select Title 1, Duration 01:33.10 4,176MB
The other two titles 34 & 36 are trash BOGUS Title sets.

As Creaky pointed out, most releases can be done with movie only when a new copy protection is encountered. If it's a protection problem and not a bad press, the software companies that supply the software should get up to speed shortly so the full copies can be made. They always have in the past.

So, RI4M is still working. That's the method I always use. One-Click and copy to the HDD (and not skip to Shrink, even when the option is available). That has the software in RI4M clean the files before opening in Shrink. It takes only a few minutes more and often solves a lot of problems. At least it has in the past.

None those methods mentioned work...i.e. RipIt4Me 1.7.1.0, AnyDVD 6.0.7.1 Ripper, DVD Decrypter, Shrink, CloneDVD 2.9.1.2 Vob Blanker The only back up method that works "movie only" is NERO7 Recode2 "REMAKE A DVD" as suggested by LEGIN27, I tried them all . Sounds like some members are assuming that people are over re-acting? Not so, "Blades of Glory" has 2 large bogus titles that serve to scramble and misplace the DVD titles altering the structure of the DVD. Slysoft from what I read are working on this title but until then Arccos Puppetlock is king on this title at least for a back up with menus and extras.

No pun....but prove it. Can you post info that DVDFab has addressed the latest version of Arccos "Puppetlock" found on this title. There are plenty of easy titles out there, but this ain't one of them.

i most certainly did rip this movie with DVDFab HD freebie version, burnt it with Nero, and watched the resulting backup. As i said this was the Region 2 movie.. i can't vouch for any other Regions, but Region 2 was a breeze

hehe, busted. Anyways, i think part of the reason we in this backwater (the UK) have less problems is because most films are released elsewhere before UK, so the various decryption tools are better equipped (ie with various updates) by the time we get these films. That's my theory anyway, now if only we could get all the good movies at the same time or before the developed nations

i only do movie only as only use backups to watch the actual movie. if i want to watch extras etc (rarely) i use the original dvd. No reason to think DVDFab won't do full disc mode though..
