Tried backing up Paris By Night 89 for a friend and encountered this error when trying to rip it. This is a new disc and no scratches.

There seems to be some new protection and there are hundreds of Title 1 but they're all the same movie.
here's an image of the reauthor in shrink:

Tried DVD decryptor and getting I/O errors and some file won't rip
here's the log and the IFO

Tried DVDFab
and that did't work

Tried Ripit4me, this is the error I got

stewie22,
That DVD does have the new protection on it. James at Slysoft needs to get his hands on the disk as the ifo's are too large to e-mail it to him. Give everyone ( DVDFAB HD Decrypter and Slysoft) time to see the disk and they will be able to decrypt it but they need to get their hands on the disk

Tried DVDshrink with AnyDVD 6.1.7.0, no luck.
It gives me error of failing to read CD drive.

I uploaded the IFO files with the DVD Decrypter log files in the rapidshare link above.

I'll update later as I'm trying to rip it with PCGedit and see if that's successful.

That version will not be able to do it. Fengtao said DVDFAB HD Decrypter should but I have found no one that has done it. AnyDVD evidentially has not put this movie at the top of their list

Have you tried this movie w/ an older version of VobBlanker? Use AnyDVD w/ it and Process All of the DVD. See if you can remove all of the crap and report back. I can not get a copy of that DVD yet

I tried PCGedit, after loading the PCG import list into DVD Decrypter still couldn't rip VTS_01_1.VOB.

Vob blanker 2.1.0.0 and anyDvD gives me
"input error: reached end of VOB too early"
and Finished with ERROR, Processed aborted and not completed.

Opening any files with PowerDVD or WMC gives only a blank screen but there is sound.
sucka

I found this on Slysoft's forum.

"Anydvd 6.1.7.1 can not handle this title (Paris By Night 89). Slysoft is aware of the situation, and Anydvd will eventually be updated to address this issue. Thank you for your patience. If you wish to discuss non-Anydvd decrypting alternatives, please visit the Third Party Products forum located at http://forum.slysoft.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35"

DVDFab works but I still got errors at 8%. I clicked "ignore all" for the errors and waited for it to complete the rip. I opened the temp files with DVDshrink and compress the movie.

Thanks for all the Help.
