Ive read around here and tried to figure out whats going on but most of these threads are more confusing than helpful. One guys says these steps work, the other guys says non of the steps work....
to me it looks like the ripit4me is shutdown and has no updates??
I havent tried to burn anything for a couple months now so im lost.
Can anyone tell me whats going on nowadays?
I ran anydvd and opened with ripit4me and that all worked but shrink wont open it.
I'm quite certain that every method that you read would work for a movie this old.
Firstly, ANY recent AnyDVD version, with Shrink to rip/compress, would rip this movie fine.
Secondly, any recent DVDFab version, with Shrink to rip/compress, would rip this movie fine.
Finally, even though I am not too familiar with RI4M, I have used it to rip very difficult movies (such as Blades of Glory), and the 1-click mode or Wizard mode usually rips just fine.
What is it that is giving you problems? If you have any recent AnyDVD, have it run automatically, and open the disc with Shrink. There isn't a reason why this wouldn't work.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
Mr Pink is right about this older but great film so far, and

Ripit doesnt like running with AnyDVD on and even gives you a warning message asking if you'd like it turned off. Maybe using one or the other, not both along with Mr.Pinks advice will get you going.

huh...i noticed the warning but someone else or some other thread told me to run both programs anyway.....
sorry man but why would u want to rip a movie like Go. DVD shrink should do it for sure. Make sure you have all processes minimal, dont surf the net on firefox while doing an antivirus scan. Do a fresh restart of the computer and then rip the movie.
