Question about skipping FMV's (removing disc) ff9 in PS3

Is there way to skip fmv's somehow, because my ff9 disc is scratched...
When escaping evil forest the game alwayes "freezes" , I've got past it all the time when playing with my ps2, but i don't have the thing to transfer my savegames from the memorycard to my ps3, so i can't get past the fmv in my ps3 ( I've tried taking disc out )


It's pretty old disc, not even platinium :P

Try running the disc through a repair solution. I haven't tried to remove the disc to see if it skips it. My FF9 disc was damaged by my PS1 also. It actually cut a groove in disc 1.
