HK PS3 is capable playing PAL & NTSC?

Just wanna ask is that HK ps3 is able to play PAL and NTSC DVD and PS1 and PS2 games?
I saw a thread be4 saying that HK ps3 is the only one can play any region games... is that true?

All ps3 are region free. It's just that not all tvs support ntsc and pal.

Only PS3 games are region free on all the consoles,not sure about the hk one.
