well glad that you are here! first thing first when you type in caps it is shouting and is not allowed, i am not sure if there is a link for dvd shrink here it may have been taken off,if you look at the top of this page, you will see a tab that reads guides, if you click on that tab, you will find all the information on dvd shrink, and other programs that will do what you are wanting to do.

without support and upgrades what do you have! Also you need other things that cannot be discussed here. Send me a private message!

@teneford - most programs have support and upgrades, the fact that you want people to PM you instead of discussing (whatever it is) here suggests to me that
a) people should steer clear of you
b) you're wanting to distribute what can only be pirated material and/or virus-laden crap
Care to disagree ?

I agree, if you are going to help keep it in the open forum where everyone can benefit from it...unless as creaky stated, it is unsavory help.

- Shrink is free and has always been free. Avoid anything/anyone who tells you otherwise. i use the free version of DVDFab, and i use it just to rip in full disc mode or main movie mode. There's also (paid) Platinum and Gold versions of DVDFab, don't know much about them though. I'm only interested in ripping anyway, i either use DVD Shrink after DVDFab's worked it's magic, or if a movie will need too much compression (ie will lose too much quality i use DVD Rebuilder which re-encodes the movie. Some of the aspects of Rebuilder are free, but i won't say anymore here are there some excellent threads in our Rebuilder forum that can explain far better than i could..

Let me reinforce what others are saying in that you should never pay for DVD Shrink. That being said it still works just fine as a compression tool and no additional support is needed for it at this time.

We are talking about two different uses here...DVD Shrink's ripper has never been regarded as strong and since it hasn't been updated in years it is pretty much useless with newer titles. DVDFab products are still seeing support and while the premium products are not free and only the ripper (DVDFab HD Decrypter) can be had for no deniro, these two products go hand in hand pretty well. If you want to pay, then you have an arguement. If you want free DVD Shrink as a compression tool is still top notch, especially when using DVDFab HD Decrypter as a ripper.
