DVD Shrink and Activemovie Window

I travel a lot and don't like to carry DVDs around with me, so I usually just decrypt my DVDs with DVD Decrypter and watch them in the full-screen preview mode using DVD Shrink 3.2. The problem is, every time I try to watch my movies using Shrink's full-screen preview, an "ActiveMovie Window" pops up and I get audio, but no video. I try to Alt+Tab to the ActiveMovie Window, and it suddenly disappears. I recently bought a new computer with Vista installed (and I'm starting to regret this for other reasons as well). This was not a problem under Windows XP. I'm also starting to suspect that this may have something to do with Dell Media Direct, which I've read is a hassle to disable/uninstall (by design, of course). Any insight on how to get rid of the ActiveMovie Window that prevents full screen mode from showing? Thanks.

you could use vlc player to watch your movies
