PS3 Bluetooth Headset not working!!

My Mad Catz bluetooth headset does not work on my PS3 when playing the PS2 version of Madden 08 online. The headset is paired correctly, and does work when I go into the settings and test it. Any suggetsions?

IS there possibly a button you have to push to talk... Most games are not open chat.. wish they where...

not 100% on this but mabey the ps2 games wont work with anything but a usb mic?

That's probably the case. Check if the headset works in PS3 games.

Bluetooth does not work for ps2 games.

Yeah, the PS2 games would have to have Bluetooth drivers programmed into them at the time of their creation, or something like that. Since the PS2 doesn't have Bluetooth in it anyway, you're out of luck.
