i've been looking over the error messages some of you have gotten, i use the above combo and can backup anything i need to. i suggest that you do the same, newer titles and oldies all seem to work for me.

It's surprising that DVD Decrypter suits ALL your back up needs, the reason for the surprise is the Decrypter has not been updated in a fair while. Having said that, do you mean DVD FAB Decrypter? as this app IS regularly updated. As long as it works i guess......
Starting with Blade: House of Chthon, and moving on to Blades of Glory, Saw 3, Little Black Book, and Talladega Knights, there's a few that DVD Decrypter can not do without some serious editing. DVD Decrypter couldn't open Blade: House of Chthon. There's a big bunch that I don't remember that had ARccOS encryption that DVD Decrypter couldn't handle alone.
As Onya mentioned, the newer DVDFab HD Decrypter from DVDIdle is another story.
