I am not quite sure what the problem is here. I have been trying to do a backup of the children's Happily Never After and Shrink will not read it??
This is with Any Dvd latest version.
Has anyone else had this issue??? Thankyou.

Thx for the advice. I will try this soon as I am on a work project at the moment.
I just wonder why Shrink can't do the job??? Is the program too dated and so I will have to buy Clone Dvd eventually b/c of the newer Dvd's???
I already have Clone Dvd on my older satellite and thought that I would be able to function with Shrink and Nero and Any Dvd on my newer notebook and not have to buy a program.
If I am going to have to purchase a newer program, which is better the Clone Dvd or Dvd Fab Decrypter Platinum that I have read about in respect of a situation like this present one that I am having?
Thankyou.

Thx very much for the advice on how to burn this dvd for backup. It worked great.
I still am curious why the Shrink won't work?? Is it dated and even if you rip with AnyDvd it still will not burn???

yeah its because dvd shrink isn't supported anymore so it has a harder time with some new releases even with anydvd running in the background. clonedvd 2 + anydvd is a great combo together
you can use dvd fab decrypter(the free version)to rip then transcode with dvd shrink and burn with nero or dvd decrypter if you want to go the freeware route. but sometimes after you rip with dvd fab decrypter you still need to use FixVTS for the file to work before dvd shrink can transcode it. helpfull guides here

Sounds like a lot to do for a backup, so I think I will stick with Clone Dvd and Any Dvd.
Is Shrink never going to be updated again. I have not been doing backups for sometime and so I haven't kept uptodate on what's happening to programs like Shrink??

no dvd shrink will not be updated anymore, it hasn't been for over two years now the author of dvd shrink works for nero that why nero recode 2 looks similar to dvd shrink
