I'm sorry I'm sure this has been answered before but i still need a hand. For the next few months I'm stuck using the ViewSonic2035wm for my Xbox 360 (which looks fine to me on it)and my PS3. The problem is hooking up the PS3 to the monitor. Well the monitor isn't HDCP complient so my understanding is that the HDMI to DVI cable wouldn't work for me. My question is would one of the Component to DVI adapters work or should I go for one of the XCM 1080p VGA box for now? ANy help would be appreciated.

My understanding is that the only thing that won't work on a dvi or component converter is playback of DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.

Purchased the XCM 1080p VGA box and I get wavy lines running horizontal through the screen. Iv'e tried the box on the cables they have supplied and other cables that came with the systems. Anyone able to give me a hand figuring out if its just a bad product or could there be other issues?
