Why would you be burning DVDs with a conversion program? Normally for just burning, either the Burning ROM or Express are used. Nero Vision is the conversion program, similar to ConvertXtoDVD. Both convert and burn their output.

In answer to your question, you appear to have it right now. Nero Vision is for converting various formats and includes the ability to change PAL and NTSC. The latter is handy if dealing with some out of region DVDs. With the burning rom and express, pretty much what comes in is duplicated by the burn as long as the structure is compliant.
Glad to see you got your conversion and DVD copy working properly.
