DVD Shrink error

I have been using DVD Shrink but most of the time I get the message "DVD Shrink encountered error and can not continue..Failed to read 'F file....Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)"

What does this mean? Any solution to counter the error/problem?

DVD Shrink is outdated you need to follow this guide

i normally just do dvdfab and shrink. but its all peference. how you like but follow the guide

The name's of the Dvd's involved might also help.

so basically dvd shrink won't handle the movie your doing by its self (no updates)

so use the guide posted above

dvdfab decrypter to rip dvd shrink to transcode (some movie will require FixVTS and or VOB blanker after you use dvdfab decrypter to clean the file before you can use dvd shrink without problems) then burn with nero, dvd decrypter or imgburn

or AnyDVD running in the background to take care of the nasties and use shrink as usual

It's free, so pick up the latest version of DVDFab HD Decrypter. Use glass cleaner to remove prints and smudges from the DVD and try it again. Rip with DVDFab HD Decrypter, open the files from the HD in DVD Shrink and process, and burn as usual. Most often the CRC error is from dirty or damaged DVDs, and/or poor decryption.
