How Do I Link Up A PS3 To The Internet???

My brother has just got a playstation 3
& doesnt know how to get on the internet with it.

My mum was with BT for 16 years & changed over to talk talk almost 2 weeks ago, but he says he still cant get the internet.

I dont have the Playstation 3 so i cant help him so i thought id ask my fellow Afterdawners..

I heard that with the BT home hub (which i have) you can link your PS3 upto the net via that.
Is this true & should she have stayed with BT?

He heard from a friend that you can only chat to people that you're playing games with, but heard from someone else you can get google, msn, etc.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance. :-)

so your question is how to hook the ps3 up to the net? Plug the ethernet cord into a router.

Or if it's a router connect to it with WIFI..
