Alternative to DVD Shrink

I have been using DVDshrink for more than 5 years and I truly love it. The program is extremely versatile and easy to use. I really like its editing features where I can trim the beginning and the end of a DVD or to reauthor the entire DVD. DVDshrink is so handy when I need to combine two DVD discs into one. What else I don't like about it?

Lately I have been getting lots of problems shrinking two DVD discs into one. What frustrate me is that I am able to use DVDshrink to back up both discs onto my hard drive and yet I am unable to use DVDshrink to combine the two discs together. I have turned off AnyDVD and am certain that DVDshrink is the only program running. Maybe it is a sign of a time where I should move onto another program instead of DVDshrink. Does anyone have any suggestions on alternatives to DVDshrink? I would like to be able to shrink two discs into one and to trim the beginning and end of the two discs.

have you tryed a clean reinstall of dvd shrink?

Hi Attar,

Yes,I am using "reauthor" in dvdshrink to load in both titles. I tried DVD2One and it works somewhat. I have to say that DVD2One is very fast.

I also tried Nero Recode and it gave the same error as DVDshrink; however, I tried Nero Recode 2 and it works great.
