Xbox Dash Board Update was released today 12/04.
Is anyone getting baned that is playing backups?

You are fine to play backups. Just I cant connect to my tversity on xp anymore i don't think. If anyone could walk me through how to do it I would be very thankful. Thanks.

I have a couple of games that I downloaded (original discs were scrtched badly, couldn't copy those) -- did anyone try that those work as well?

Played yesterday after the update and my backups are just fine. But everyone I encountered on COD4 on multiplayer games, including me, were having serious issues trying to get a game going.
Wii w/ wiinja and voice recognition software so I don't have to push a button to turn it on

you don't need tversity anymore. you can play avi/divx/xvid on it now. they've ublocked it

I got banned about 2 weeks ago after saying yes to an update when i put Juiced 2 in to play. Didn't get banned right away.
Is there any way i can get the update so i can have my 360 play divx, avi files?
Obviously i cant connect to live at all now so no way of doing it the normal way

ya, find it on a torrent site and burn it to a cd, install that way.

the new dash update improved my xbox 360 speed alot.. whenever there is a new update, i would really recommend u to update it because those updates wont harm ur xbox 360 and it also increases ur xbox 360 speed performance..

problem I have, is the downloadable update on xbox.com is still the one from may or something, because its called like update 05 2007 or something.. Im not banned or anything.. worse.. dialup.

I'm still trying to find the update on the torrent sites but no luck as of yet.
I've also been told the new update can't be put onto a disc to update that way...has anyone else heard this?

i found one to download but ive been stcuk at 80% for days now with no seeders.
