PS3 to VGA monitor

Hi, Im going to buy a 40GB PS3 and want to play it on my monitor, which only has a VGA input - It doesn't have onboard speakers, so will some seperately.

There seems to be two options

A component box http://www.thegametrain.com/xcm-1080p-vg...ml?currency=GBP - into which I plug the component cables, then run it into the VGA port, and also to the speakers.

And aslo a "HDFURY" http://www.thegametrain.com/hdfury-1080p...fury-p-265.html
which plugs directly into the VGA port offering a direct HDMI input.

Does the HDMI AV cable from the PS3 have any speaker cables connected to it? How would I connect to external speakers using this method?

This what im gonna get for my ps3 to hook up on a vga lcd monitor. http://www.x2vga.com/

It should tide me over til I get a 1080p lcd flat screen tv.

The only cables that come w/ ps3 are the standard A/V cables, so you have to buy a HDMI cable. :(

Yeah, and they can get pretty expensive. Don't fall for the intense Monster cables, I hear there isn't much of a quality difference.
