I want to buy a ps3 but i need to know if it will work in Australia (PAL). I know the games will work but will it be compatible with the tv's? Can anyone help me?

It should. Last time I checked TV's are not region protected. The only issue that I can only think of with importing electronics is the voltage. I beleive is 110 volts in North America and 220 in Asia.

HDTVs are not region protected in most cases. They make an adapter for the voltage problem. Do you plan on buying a US ps3? If so take into account that you cannot play multi region dvds or ps2 games because these are region protected. So if you buy a US ps3 then you can only play US dvds and ps1 and ps2 games. I'm not sure but I believe that Blu-Ray movies are also region restricted.
