hi! i am not new to burning or anything like that have been using shrink and dvd fab for a long time also used decrypter before its demise sucks! my problem is this i have been out of it for a while about a year needed the break anyhow i am burning again i am trying to copy fast and the furious tokyo drift as we all know shrink can not decode it so i downloaded the new free version of dvd fab hd decrypter on their website to decode the movie ran it through with no problems got shrink going found file on hard drive opened it up no problem so i tweaked everything like i wanted it and hit backup about at 30% encoding everything stopped got an error message this is exacly what it read dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue out of memory the paging file is to small for this operation to complete so i checked to see if i had plenty of memory and i have 40 gig free so that is not the problem i googled on the internet a couple of people posted places about the same problem with other movies but their were really no answers that would help me most said it was fixed with new version update but i already have that i used dvd fab all the time when decrypter was gone and never had one problem with it at all now i take a break and come back and it is a crapy program does anyone know what might be the problem is dvd fab just crap now? is their a better program that works out or something? any help would be very appreciated thanks in advance

ok after you rip with dvdfab decrypter run the file though FixVTS or VOB Blanker to clean the file then transcode with dvd shrink and burn or use clonedvd 2 + anydvd, heres a guide

hi! thanks for replying to my post i downloaded the new dvd fab hd beta fixed the problem i will try this approach though if i have any problems in the future though sounds like a good remedy when these programs are not updated fast enough again thanks for the help i will definitly add to my arsenal

yes update software is important but in some cases its still necessary to use fixvts or vob blanker to clean the file before transcoding with dvd shrink, doing the movie only solves alot of problems also
