At what point does it become adviseable to use the deep analysis function? I know that it is in the eye of the beholder quality wise and I have been using it for everything where compression is shown at 90% or less (ie 10% compression or more). If I did not use it would it really be noticeable? I want the best quality (which is why I always use re-author).

i use deep analysis at about 60-70%. it does add 40 minutes to the process and so i only do it if I think it will make a difference. Oriphus looked at it and didn't notice a difference until about there with a 60" screen.

Craic, the size of your TV obviously matters, but I'd think the quality of the image it delivers matters most.
So I'd suggest you make a few tests and see what works best for you.

My rule of thumb:
Anything with a Ratio below 90% gets the Deep analysis treatment. ;)
I don't mind the extra time it takes, as I then use DVD Shrink in "Low priority".
This enables me to multi-task while not slowing down other programs too much (browsing the net, using Photoshop,...).
