It would not be the first time it happens, so I have to ask: are you trying to use both decrypters at the same time? If you use DVDFab HD Decrypter, you have to turn off DVD43, DVD Region Free,( or AnyDVD if it were the case). Use DVDFab HD Decrypter alone, with any other decrypter that integrates in windows and runs in backgound turned off, or you will get errors.

Not to mention it is extremely redundant to have all those "crackers" working simultaneously tripping all over each other.
Could've sworn I've seen another Rescue Dawn thread, but I'll be darned if I can find it.

I know, don't really understand the reasoning behind it, but people do it.It might not be this case, but I've seen it happen often. DVDFab HD Decrypter encompases the other two, which are not needed at all.

And more times than not when DVD43 is mentioned in a thread there is bound to be trouble.

Loco, if you can't find that other Rescue Dawn thread, would it help if I started one for you?

Very true. People try to get go with it, but not being a strong decrypter, it doesn't work. Then they Google some more, read some forums on AD,try something else( like DVDFab HD Decrypter, or even AnyDvd), but forget that they have that thing DVD43 runing. Some people probably think that having "many guns " cracking at it at the same time increases success rate.

Meanie! Like Neph said, you're probably one of the Bah Humbugs with scroogitis that close down the Merry Christmas thread also.
Apologies for getting side tracked off the main topic of this thread.

Couldn't agree more on this one. I've personally run into that same said scenario several times already.
That being said eric122, you may want to consider dumping that program to avoid problems with it.

After you do the normal Add/Remove, do a search & get rid of anything that comes up to do with the program because it likes to leave stuff behind.

Agree with Soup. If you decide to uninstall, run a registry cleaner, defrag, reboot and then go forward.

I never used it. Does it automatically fix any registry discrepancies, or do you have to manually remove astray entries?

No problems. Getting further off topic, there are two different scans with that program. regular cleaning of temp files and such, then the registry icon does some deeper cleaning. Very customizable controls.

Hi, I am trying to backup the rescue dawn dvd and have run into so many problems. I have tried 2 different copies with several programs including dvd decrypter, ripit4me, anydvd, dvdfab and I run into the same problem at the same point in both disc's where it will stop reading. Is this some new protection and if so how do you get around it as I have encountered this problem before with Feast. Any help would be much appriciated
