i bought a simpletech online. and after hours of finding a partition program that worked and changing it to FAT32 the ps3 wont recognize it. i checked on my computer and it says FAT32 file system.

can you guys post what you use or have used with a ps3 that it will recognize. i need to go return it today and get one that will work!!

Are you going to use it as an external or internal harddrive.

took me hours last night to get a program working to partition. swissknife kept closing. well anyway i brought back the simpletech bought a western digital. it was already a fat32!!!! i put some avi's some mp4s everything plays perfectly!!!! it was too easy!!! alot of hours wasted last night.

wait actually its not playing my mpeg4. i just tested one it was unsupported. but the avi all work
