DVD Shrink 3.2 gives me a "Cyclic Redundancy Check" error message at 99% completion, and says "Cannot read drive E:". Why am I having this problem with only a few DVDs?
I only backup the main movie, as I have no real use for other features.
I have only been using DVD Shrink 3.2, and have never really had a problem, but recently, I have recieved the message on roughly 20% of all burning jobs.
Shrink is outdated and so the error maybe due to copy protection. Try ripping with DVDFab HD, then use shrink to complete the job. The link to DVDFab is in the sig below.
-rip with DVDFab
-open files using shrink for transcoding
-have shrink autoburn to disk using DVD decrypter or use Imgburn for ISO image file or nero if you have it.

all the above post should work fine BUT sometimes after you use dvdfab decrypter you will need to use fixvts to clean the file further so dvd shrink doesn't have a problem transcoding it,heres a step by step guide also
