DVDfab should be able to do this flick and so should AnyDVD with shrink. Some have been experiencing problems with backing up this movie and the cause appears to be with the DVD itself, a possible bad press. Since you have AnyDVD, you can use the ripper that comes with it to rip the video files to your hard drive, then open the files using shrink for transcoding. If you're still are unable to backup the DVD, return and exchange it for another.
I have the files on my hd, just tryin to use shrink for transcoding... everything worked great untill got to shrink... then the error came up... I had rented this dvd so dont really wanna return it n get another one just yet.... i will have to try DVDfab... but you guys got ne other suggestions?? thanks...
