DVD SHRINK 3.2 Error

Hi, I use DVD SHRINK for my DVD since its the easiest one I know to backup my movies. I tried backing up some movies but I get the "Cyclic Redundancy Check" @ 1% or sometimes I mayget the whole movie downloaded using shrink,but when you go to the main movie there is no movie just some short open credits. So I tried to burn the full backup and I get an pause after a few % and then the "Cyclic Redundancy Check".Does anyone know what causing this.I dont like DVD decrypter. CNa anyonme help w/this. I cleaned the movie also and the movie was new too.

Usually cyclic redundancy check has to do with a bad/dirty/scratched disc. Sometimes it can be an encryption problem that Shrink can't handle by itself.

Make sure the disc is clean and plays in your pc and standalone.

Rip to hdd using DvdFab Hd decrypter beta version.

Is DVDFAB different and easier than DVD DECRYPTER because I dont like DVD DECRYPTER.

DvdFab Hd is different than decrypter. It removes encryption and rips the movie to your HDD. Then transcode with Shrink and burn with ImgBurn, also a free proggie. This is my normal process.

So how about when I get the rip w/DVD SHRINK and the movie part isnt there. How can I fix that part?

I've never personally had that happen so i'm limited in how much i can help there. If you can provide a screen shot, i might be able to tell you more.

Another thing, sometimes after ripping there may some nasties still left in files. For that, you may need to implement FixVts or VobBlanker before you run through Dvd Shrink.

That is the fix, what singer suggested. Get DVDFab HD Decrypter. You "will not" be able to use DVD Shrink alone to rip the great majority of the new titles.
DVDFab HD Decrypter has a friendlier interface than DVD Decrypter( not as verstile though). DVD Decrypter would not be able to rip those titles alone either. Not updated anymore.
