There is small "PS BUTTON" which displays the home menu & also
turns the system on/off, it's loacted between start & select,
I'm sure you all know which button I'm talking about.
Is this suppose to light up at any time, press/depress?

Actually, I believe the SixAxis that comes with the 80gb is suppose to light up red, at least that's what I've heard and what appears to be the case on the box.
you need an mcd lcd and a resistor that needs to be soldered in, i tried it but as im not good at soldering and the fact that the solder wasnt sticking tidy (cheap solder) i give up, just google it, theres plenty of tutorials out there.
