i used dvd shrink to back-up my dvd and just wonder how do i transfer it to my PS3.

What do you mean by "back-up"? Did you rip your files to the hard disk and now you want to put the movie onto a DVD to play it in your PS3, or what?

well yes. and is there a way to transfer the ripped dvd from the hard disk to the ps3 hdd.

If the movie is ripped on your hard drive and you want to burn it to a DVD, you need probably ImgBurn (or you could burn with Nero if you have it).

If you want to directly transfer files from your PC to your PS3...don't know for sure. Don't have that toy yet. It can be done wirelessly , or probably using a cable. Otherwise, you need to use a data DVD, or a USB memory stick or something. However, I think there is a file size limitation, as the PS3 HDD is FAT32.
