ok I have a small question, ive been using dvd shrink for almost 2 years now and all of a sudden I keep getting data error (cycle redundancy check) please help what can I do to fix this
CRC error is usually associated with dirty/scratched/or bad disc. Sometimes, especially here of late it can also have to do an encryption that Dvd Shrink cannot handle by it's lonesome. Basically, it's Shrink notices something (a file) missing and times out searching for it.
Make sure the disc and your laser are clean.
Or you may try to use an updated ripper/decrypter to remove encryption before transcoding with Shrink. Or rip to your HDD and run through FixVts before transcoding, which is what i normally do.
